E-Brida Version 7.6: New Capabilities with Company Properties and Explore

The latest version of E-Brida (7.6) is now available. This update introduces two major improvements that make working with data and properties within E-Brida even more efficient: Company Properties and the new Explore feature.

These additions help organizations standardize their data, gain deeper insights, and make better use of the information available in E-Brida.

Company Properties

Company Properties introduce a new way to standardize properties across different crops, while still allowing controlled flexibility where needed.

With this feature, users can define properties once at the company level and then assign them to specific crops. If necessary, selected settings can still be overridden at crop level, ensuring consistency without enforcing a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach.

Company Properties also support calculated company properties, allowing formulas to be created based on other company properties. This makes it possible to automatically derive and manage data within the system.

More information about working with Company Properties and how to get started can be found in our knowledge base.

Explore: Interactive Data Analysis

The new Explore module makes it easier to analyze and compare data within E-Brida.

Explore provides an interactive environment that supports multiple visualization types, including:

  • Box plots

  • Scatter plots

  • Time-series charts

Alongside these visualizations, a table with the underlying data is available, making it easy to identify trends, distributions, and outliers within datasets.

In both scatter plots and time-series charts, users can select individual data points and perform follow-up actions directly. This allows users to quickly move from data exploration to actionable insights.

Webinar on the Explore Feature

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, we will host a webinar where we will demonstrate the new Explore feature and explain how it can be used in practice.
