E-Brida Version 7.4 – New seed inventory features and enhanced digital phenotyping API
E-Brida version 7.4 is now available. This release introduces great new functionality to further support plant breeding workflows and make data processing even more intuitive.
We extensively tested this release in cooperation with some of our customers and their feedback has been highly positive. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed during the testing phase.

Multiple trial setup
Setting up multiple trials is now quicker and more intuitive. With just a few steps, users can create multiple trials and maintain the link to the source plots. Users can upload material lists to create new trials and plots effortlessly while keeping track of the stock balance. This functionality saves time and aligns seamlessly with breeders’ workflows, ensuring a more efficient trial setup process.

New pedigree item types – Improved hybrid identification
Breeders can now add new pedigree item types, making it easier to distinguish hybrids from parent lines. This feature enhances a more precise breeding strategy by providing better lineage insights.

Improved seed inventory overview
The stock management interface now offers a more comprehensive and user-friendly overview. A single screen provides a complete view of all seed lots, offering real-time insight into seed stock inventory levels.
With immediate access to actual seed stock data, breeders can optimize inventory management and ensure efficient use of available seed stock.
